We have both...

… Country and Western!1)

Or to answer Darren Rowse's question “Are you a long or short post blogger?”:
I do both.

But I'm wondering what you prefer.

Do you really read long posts like yesterday's 600 word article or do you prefer the shorter ones like the 120 words from April the 22nd? And while you're here, answering my questions, what about the quality? Too techy? Not techy enough? Easy to read or hard to grasp? What do you expect of my posts?

In short: what do like or dislike about my blog?

I'm looking forward to your answers, though I won't promise to change anything ;-).

To be honest, I subscribed to your feed because I started to study DokuWiki for a work so I thought it would be a good idea to read your blog :) that I found interesting (I have the same problem with VIM that you described before). I didn't completely read the 2d barcode post but it was interesting! So your blog is fine.
About the "Country and Western", I suppose that it is a part of a sentence taken from the movie "The Blues Brothers".

I enjoy reading both, the shorter and the longer ones. IMO the more techy posts, in the way you write them, are still easy to gras and I think there`s no need to make them more techy (thinking of planet larry were every 3rd post is about C/C++ which my brain just refuses to understand ;-)).

I like the colors and the sweet little monsters... ;-)

Actually I try to read long posts to the end but if it´s too techy I sometimes skim over the text. But in most cases it is easy to read and I mostly understand what you´re saying.

Greetings from Bob's Country Bunker :-D

I'm here (as reader) 2 months ago or so and the subscription was mainly cause of DokuWiki at first. Now I think your blog is a great site to read about tech. So, it doesn't matters if posts are longer or shorter I guess.
