After my server got hacked a few weeks ago I disabled the PHP webnotes user comments for security reasons. Tonight I built a replacement. I call it “My Two Cents”. It is very simple - it is just a single class which can be included in any PHP site. It's missing an admin interface but the frontend does work. It uses a blacklist (the same as DokuWiki) against spamming and displays Gravatars in user comments.

It's running at man.splitbrain.org – see sed for an example comment.

I'm very tired now. Maybe I will add some more docs tomorrow or even use it here for blog comments.
