splitbrain.org - electronic brain surgery since 2001

It's alive!

After several years, it was time for a change. I spent the last three days with building the new splitbrain.org design. So if you're reading this in your feedreader: now is the time to click through to http://www.splitbrain.org and enjoy its new look (now with 100% more tentacles).

I'm pretty happy with the outcome, but I'm sure I missed many things that might look weird now. So if you encounter anything that doesn't look right or if you just want to leave appraisal or criticism please do so in the comments.

After going from black and blue to white and light colors, it's a nice change. I especially like all the handwritten/hand drawn work. Great design.

Very nice!

I especially like the "here would be ads" part (btw I'm not using any adblocking, other than NoScript and a tweaked hosts file...)

I really like it a lot. It's very unique, easy on the eyes, and you put tentacles in it :-P. And it also works good without any CSS, in case you plan to particiapte at the next CSS  Naked Day ;-).

Thanks everyone! I can't believe nobody is complaining, you all must have hated the old design ;-).

r0sk, I won't release the template - I want my site to be unique and easily be recognized as mine.

Hey, Andi. I just saw this and was wondering: What's the little arrows and letters at the footer of your site? They look like something from a gaming system? :-/

Hi Andi,

great work, but:

some of the links are broken: the "Hi, I'm Andreas Gohr ..." links are relative and lead to non-existing pages (in the projects namespace, for example)
