Hartau May 9th 1988
Today we've been to the Folklore and Mill Museum Waltersdorf. Afterwards we went to the Damask and Local History Museum Großschönau.
At the Damask Museum I could see three working looms.
I think I mentioned before, that seemingly every little village in the GDR had it's own little local history museum. Here at least the looms made some novel impressions on young me.
Surprisingly, both museums seem still to exist:
