Hiking Bavaria

Last Thursday, I had a DokuWiki consulting job near Tegernsee in Bavaria and decided to stay a bit longer as a mini vacation. I did not plan anything. I had a rental car and picked hotels using Google Maps and the Booking.com app each day.

The weather was great except for the first day, so I did a few hikes. Since I didn't know where to go, my trick was to search for “Wanderparkplatz” (Hiking Parking Spot) on Google Maps and just start walking from there. It worked just fine I ended up doing several 2 to 3 hour hikes this way. One day I also spontaneously took a cog railway up the Wendelstein mountain.

Anyway, here are some pictures (sorry phone-quality only this time).
